Just found out after months of paperwork, where they confirmed they could file my FICA tax rebate and after getting me to sign all the documents for the refund AND which paperwork gives them the rights to claims my tax rebate in their name!! they are now telling me that the paperwork isn´t good quality and they cannot continue with the claim. I AM SURE ITS A SCAM! going to contact IRS to see what the status of my case is!

A FRAUDULENT company with a garbage product

It is astonishing how parasitic companies like Taxback.com and its garbage product "Sprintax" are allowed to even legally operate. If you are expecting a tax return preparation software like GLACIER, you are in for a nasty surprise. Not only is the software experience very bad (basically requires more effort than filling out the pdf tax form yourself), but *only after* spending all the time to provide the necessary information, and of course paying the fee, you are notified that instead of receiving the form immediately (like my experience with GLACIER) , you are going to receive it within 5 business days! However, in my case, which was super-straightforward (the federal tax form was already done), they failed to deliver the tax return form even 1.5 weeks later! Moreover, they were completely unreachable through any means the entire time. Obviously, since I had no indication whether in the end they would deliver it at all, and the April 15 deadline was approaching, I had to prepare the form myself and I let them know on April 11, requesting a refund. Again, no signs of life, until Sunday, April 14, just before the April 15 deadline, when they contacted me saying "we just uploaded your tax return form, so you are not eligible for a refund, since you could still file it tomorrow". Of course, they didn't care if I actually could file it on the day of the deadline (I couldn't), and never even apologized for the huge delay, which was in violation of the terms of agreement - they just provided the form the last moment to avoid giving me a refund. Unfortunately, I am not the only case: I've only received negative feedback from anyone I know has tried to use this company's "services". Don't let yourself be exploited by petty crooks - stay clear!

To be honest, I have never made a review of a company because I felt like it never mattered. But Taxback.com has changed my view.

In 2017 I tried to use this service in Canada, after my initial email, they didn't comfirm through any message for over 3 weeks. So I sent another email asking if the email address was still relevant, and if there was any update on my tax. A week goes by and still not a single email, not even a spam email. I went to an actual professional on Vancouver Island, H&R block on Goldstream Ave, Langford.

They are really good if anyone is wondering.

A year on, taxback.com have now made me cave into their constant pressure and relentless threats. They did not do my tax return and I had never recived any return from them. But if I want to get back into Canada I guess I have to pay their price. I will never recommend this company or any of their affiliates.

I will be posting this review anywhere and everywhere that they threatened to blast my name as a tax evader. One small man can not beat Goliath but if I can turn one person away from this blackpit of disgraceful "professionals" it is a victory in my books.

Please people, go to a professional, speak to them and learn. An online tax service is without a doubt the worst thing I have ever experienced.

After applying for taxback in Ireland went ok for 1st month, 6emails and 2 calls later still wanted 2more p45’s from job previous year. After speaking with 3different agents (not 1 of them with decent spoken English) i was sent email again to fill out all paperwork i had done at the start... worst agency EVER!!! I advise anybody to go online with revenue and request p21 balance statement and enter your bank details to get paid directly to your account other than those vultures looking for a couple hundred and delaying your claim.. stay well clear of them folks

I gave only one star because zero stars is not possible... In my opinion, this company and their service really suck... I paid more than 100 dollars to have my taxes back since I was a j1 visa in 2016 and after more than one year I am still here waiting for the promised amount of money. Some months ago I have also asked to be refunded, but they keep saying that the money will arrive soon...yes sure! unbelievable@!! I do not recommended this service at all. Ps: I find so curious that the company has a very good rating and feedback only on its page.... that's a huge mistery :)

Totally agree! we are on 2018 and I am still waiting to my 2015 tax refund!

and everytime I write them they keep telling me to wait 6-8 weeks... unbelieveble...

I dont know how to express my anger with them throughout a computer screen... i am am so so so so so angry...........

Like every j1 student, i wanted to get my taxes back when i got back to my country and i see commercials and suggestions about them. Besides they are so slow, they do not inform you about anything.

You think you are done with documents and they are saying everything is fine. Week later when you check their website they claim that they inform you and your documents are missing. And finally when they are trying to send my money i gave them my USD account and they tried to send it with Turkish Lira.

And now they claim that they did not get the money and want me to check my account. I never ever and ever recommend you to go with this company it is better not to get your refund.

Bad communication, bad English skills

I tried to have this company deal with my German tax return, but I could not really trust them to let them start working on it. Their estimation of returning tax differed at every time someone I talked with, often they did not understand the simple thing I said. My native language is not English but my working language is, so I believe the problem was on the other side. They could not tell clearly what documents would be required. They also called me too often, instead of letting me progress at my speed. I'm still trying to find some other company, I will not work with Taxback for sure.

I live in Australia, I am under the legal age to even HAVE a job and i received an email from a Taxback.com, a little bit of research leads me to this website. How on earth did they get my details and why are they sending me emails. They ask for my contact details. Tax time was months ago as it is. I dont really understand what they think they are getting out of me, and obviously they know nothing about me. It all seems a little sketchy to me. I just sent them a message in response saying to never contact me again and have blocked them but super sketchy, never trust.

Deceitful, misleading and overpriced!

I will strongly be advising my friends to avoid taxback and find a different company. The reason I decided to go with taxback in the first place was because I was offered a discount rate through my job. Once all my paperwork was complete, the fee was changed, even though I had email confirmation stating I would receive the discount. I contacted taxback about this issue and they refused to negotiate or give me the fee which they had promised in the first place. There was also a hidden fee for using direct deposit method, which I was not informed about until it was too late. The time frame in which I received my tax was just over three months, which surprisingly was still not enough time for taxback to process my deposit, as it was delayed by a week. How can it possibly take that long? Overall I found my experience with taxback to be misleading, deceitful and overpriced.

I am really dissapointed about TaxBack, the agents lie about the dates, they don't care about your problems and they tell you lies just to get rid of you. They have lost my check, there is no database to can track the checks and they had no idea about what happend with it. So i needed to wait other couple months to receive it when the agreemeent was to receive it in 3 months. Than an agent told me that i will receive another check in 2 weeks, that of course didn't happen. I talked with several agents and each of them told me a different thing. Unprofessional people and agency.

I have been ripped off by this company. Me and my friend worked the same jobs in australia for the full year. He got 5000 taxback i got 2600. Disgusting, iv been telling them and they were responding to my emails but seem to have stopped now. I got a copy and paste, email from them basically saying the refund i got was correct. How did my friend get so much more.

They want money from me for handling an application.. they didnt cancel my visa I told them not to submit it.

They are billing me for 148$ processing fee. I niavely agreed on a contract before they failed to cancel my visa or be of any worth.

Really gutted at my own stupidity involving myself wifh this bully orginisation.

This is probably my first review ever , but I cannot stress enough to to tell you how bad this company is , they will ask you to send multiple papers again and again they say 1 thing and a different agent will tell you something else , communication is bad , and they took a total of 600$ there hidden fee and it took me a stressful 4-5 months dealing with them before I get some money , I am surprise how they are still in business , avoid
